An upcoming UK gangster flick is the latest subject for a game adaptation.
Frazer Nash Communications has apparently secured the rights to develop and publish a game based on the film The Heavy.
The film, which stars Vinnie Jones and Stephen Rea, tells the story of two very different brothers: one is running for Prime Minister while the other is a violent gangster and, unsurprisingly, their paths will cross in a tale of loyalty and betrayal.
Rob Webb of KnowTechie writes: We're still waiting on the details, but this video game adaptation promises to be seriously creepy.
INDIE Live Expo, Japan’s premiere online digital showcase series , will debut never-before-seen games & content updates across more than 100 titles on May 25th.
Get the scoop on Comedy Central's exciting new cartoon show inspired by the iconic Golden Axe video game
Golden Axe is a great game I enjoyed it on the SMS, Genesis and in the arcade. Great game but it truly was a quarter eater back in the day. I wish Sega could get the rights to the arcade port of Moonwalker another great arcade game I enjoyed. Collect so many monkeys and become Robo Michael lol.
Apparently features Sadie Frost and Lee Ryan from Blue. Or the cream of British acting talent as they're also known.
Game adaptions of classics films like this have a higher rate of quality than those made for a film release (like Hulk, Ironman etc etc etc).
Well, this has potential.
