Nintendo has announced stronger than anticipated Q1 financial results, prompting the firm to review its sales forecast to account for the higher figures.
Nintendo revealed that New Super Mario Bros has sold a total of 3.82 million units worldwide, while global sales of DS hardware reached 21.27 million units by the end of June – bolstered by the launch of DS Lite. Over all, Nintendo achieved Y131m net sales in April to June, compared with Y71m for the same period last year.
