Gamertell has posted its weekly update of new casual style games.
Some of the highlights this week Diner Dash 5: BOOM (PC) and Lilly & Sasha: Curse of the Immortals (PC).
Bright Hub writes "Flo makes a return to the diner business in the latest in the long line of Diner Dash games. Flo's most recent outing ventures a little further into some customization options but mainly keeps everything else standard-fare."
About writes: "Poor Flo. As if almost single handedly running a restaurant by herself wasn't enough, the star of the Diner Dash series has run into yet another snag in her latest outing: her restaurant blew up. But that doesn't stop Flo, who decides that the best thing to do is continue to serve customers anyways, wherever they happen to be. This twist helps differentiate Diner Dash 5: BOOM! from the rest of the series, while still maintaining the intense, fast-paced action that's made the series such a hit."
Spawn Kill's Rebecca "CuatroChihuahuas" Quintana writes, "I'm not afraid to admit it: while I love a good 'serious' JRPG any day, I also enjoy many so-called 'casual' games like Diner Dash and Cake Mania. So when I got the opportunity to review Flo's latest culinary outing, Diner Dash 5: Boom!, I jumped at the chance. It'd been a while since I'd last played Diner Dash: Hometown Hero, and my clicking finger was itching for another go of frantic arcade-style fun. How does this latest installment pan out?"
You're wrong K-Tuck! These games are perfect for passing time and flexin' the reflexes. How could they make it less frenetic?! Adding too much isn't always a good thing. :(
I was thinking about buying this game, but I'm so glad I decided to hold off on doing that, now. I think I'll pick up one of the more challenging titles instead. Thanks for saving me some money!
