IncGamers' Jeff Hollis get stuck into Allods Online and gives his opinion on this beautiful free-to-play MMO. A snip:
"FINALLY, someone has done something a bit different in terms of the racial choices in an MMO. There are two factions, and three different races for each. The "good" side (though that is a bit of a misnomer) gets humans, elves with fairy wings (it's cooler than it sounds) and a new race called the "gibberlings". Gibberlings are, as you probably guessed, small and cute. The kicker is that you get three of them, and they function as a cohesive unit. So, yeah, your character is actually three linked little characters."
With new islands, a new race and new quests, the Allods Online Immortality expansion is bringing lots of content to fans of the MMO.
Allods Online has found new life in an interesting way–through Steam Greenlight.
Allods Team launched their bid to get on Steam for their MMO Allods Online.
oh so you have a party in the MMO. cool!
I've heard the name bandied around but this is the first time I've really heard any details. This actually sounds pretty cool, though.
It actually looks quite decent, hadn't thought of checking it out before.
Like the art style a lot.
but due to class imbalance and impossible lvling aswell as no auto atk (so no talking while grinding) really kills it for me
i got to lvl 40 in half an hour because of the quest in the opening. when they throw u with real players it took me two hours to reach lvl 5.............wtf. my character wud take 10 yrs to kill one enemy while other classes were blowing thru them like a mage or w/e. I chose a paladin, and it sux when u have to pick another class cuz ur class is such garbage.
that just made me stop playing. no reason a paladin shud be so weak, and damn no auto atk was really annoying, I normally play aion and am used to pressing buttons for atks which i luv that, but come on there has to be auto atk for a regular slash :/
