The case is not so strange if we think that the publisher francesco long search titles and ideas that can break and run even on the eastern side, and what better genre could not conceive of a Jrpg?

The Nintendo DSi is quickly becoming a platform of its own. The system, released in April 2009, isn't much more than upgraded Nintendo DS technology, but its built-in cameras and its incorporated data storage give developers more to work with. And the DSi Shop can be a virtual sandbox for game creators to incorporate the DSi capabilities into downloadable titles. Or it's just an easy way to get simple DS ideas into gamers' hands without going the much more expensive retail route.

Nintendo Life: Legends of Exidia Review

After playing for just a few minutes, you'll immediately realize that this game isn't going to be very challenging. It's very linear, basically just making you move from one point to another, and, at almost all times, you'll have a marker on-screen telling you which direction to head in. Yes, this isn't a traditional-style RPG - it's an action RPG, which means that there're almost no statistics to micromanage and all enemies are fought right on the map, rather than each one sending you into a turn-based battle separate from the rest of the action.
