Perhaps taking an ambitious stance on the real substance of an MMORPG is something a relatively big budget F2P like Allods can afford to do. After all, there's no financial barrier to playing through to the most fascinating part of this game. If so, then experienced MMO gamers will have to work hard to get to that important XP threshold, because there's a lot of grind in between and for the early part of the game at least.
Allods seems to harbour more than its fair share of trolls and other unsavoury types subscription MMOs tend to weed out by default. But if you're done with stale endgame mechanics and are looking for a breath of fresh Astral air, this is well worth the effort.
