'Heads-Up' PlayStation Store Update (18th February 2010)

Official EU Playstation blog writes:

I'm pleased with the array of wares we have on offer this week, from a new batch of special offers (with the second phase of minis offers in celebration of minis month), to new games, demos, additional content, avatars and themes, there really is something for everyone. Don't argue, there is, okay :D

Game highlights this week come in the form of Peggle Nights and Revenge of the Wounded Dragon for PS3, and SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 and Half-Minute Hero for PSP. I know these titles have been asked about a fair bit in recent weeks, so now you can get your hands on them.

There's lots of additional content this week, notably the next sequence for Assassin's Creed II, but also for those of you who have not yet got into the world of Burnout Paradise, we have two new, special bundles for you. The Complete Edition collects the full game, and all the packs that have been previously released, whilst there is also the Complete DLC Bundle that collects all the individual packs only (for those of you who already have the full game).

This week is even better than i expected :-)

At least they're still $hitting on PSP Go users in other countries. Doesn't make me feel so bad here in Canada. I'm starting to feel like they're pretending that the Go doesn't exist.

Woooooooooooh! Yakuza 3!

@Chris399
Really? I've know PSPGo users who managed to get 5-6 games included with their bundles, or given afterwards as a "thanks for buying" or a redemption offer.

It's expensive, but after 5 fairly new games the price doesn't make that much difference. Provided you wanted those particular games ;)

Sony still need to reduce the price of their PSN games new to the store. Holy Invasion of Privacy is still over £20 :|

very nice ...i hope this isn't the japanese demo translated but then again it might still be nice

I'm talking about the fact that they release like, at best, one PSP legacy game each week. I can't grasp the logic behind this, as the PSP has a rather large catalog. I've downloaded plenty of games, but Sony is really not following through on their promise to deliver a "huge" selection (or whatever it was that they mentioned around the time of the hardware's launch).

The Yakuza 3 demo was unexpected, but it's a rather pleasant surprise as I thought the Japanese demo was great. Now I can play it in English. :)
