IGN: P.B. Winterbottom Blog: Prototyping

IGN: Most artists will sketch their concepts on paper long before moving to 3D. I have always been more of a sculptor than an illustrator, so I went straight to Maya, which is a 3D modeling and rendering program. The initial images I created were the birth of Winterbottom. Without having any clue of what the gameplay would actually be, I put together slides of how an interaction would work. I also mapped out three models of time I wanted to play with after studying models of time in other mediums.
