Yep- XBOX= FPS only.... for example...

Forza 2- best driving sim to date
Oblivion- best Action RPG to date
GTAIV- stolen SONY exclusive with exculsive XBOX content
Gears of War- not FPS... 3rd PS
GRAW-GRAW2- Again, not FPS
Assassin's Creed- on the way, not FPS, not SONY exclusive

You'r just a fcuking retard if you classify the Xbox360 as a FPS-only console.

In all reality... Resistance FOM is the only game worth playing on the PS3, and IT IS AN FPS!
So what console is really dependant on FPS titles for success? (If you can all the PS3s progress "success" right now)

I've got both consoles, and I enjoy a LOT of different genres of games on my XBOX360, and everyone pretty much acknowledges that the only 2 games worth buying for the PS3 are Motorstorm and R:FOM.

SONY will get good games, but the XBOX360 has the best variety and library of games I've ever seen on a console, so stop the hate.

I think he meant so early into it's life and I have to agree.
you have amazing jrpgs, blue dragon, trusty bell (lost odyssey etc)
amazing 3rd person shooters, gears, lost planet
amazing western rpgs oblivion, with a plethora in development(mass effect, fable)
amazing driving games, dirt(rally), forza(racing), pgr(arcade)
great adventure games dead rising, kameo
sandbox titles crackdown, saints row
an ample amount of fps shooters with bioshock and halo release dates approaching
platforming titles like banjoo in the works and misc titles like viva, it's only missing sim games but even then ace combat will do.

...if Phil Harrison says it, then we should definatly go out and spend $600 on a PS3, RIGHT NOW!

After all, this guy has absolutley NO bias!

Vojkan4131d ago

Is this sarcasm?:-) lol

Screw this bald bastard... SONY picked him up so they could have a token bald guy (Jay Allard anyone?)
Nice try, but we beat ya to the punch Phil... Now, let's recap some of Phil's OTHER unbiasd statements before you take his words to heart---

"I don’t think we’re arrogant."
– Phil Harrison, regarding consumer perception of Sony

"I have no concerns about the competition."
- Phil Harrison, president of Sony Worldwide Studios speaking at the Game Developer Conference

"Nintendo knows its target audience, because it has really narrowed that down; and it’s pretty much defined by a boy or girl’s ability to admire Pokemon."
- Phil Harrison, president of Sony Computer Entertainment's Worldwide Studios

"But I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick."
- Sony executive Phil Harrison cuts to the chase with his incisive analysis of the Nintendo DS in gaming paper MCV.

“The idea of a handheld rivalry with Nintendo is an irrelevance. Those formats don't appear in our planning. It's not a fair comparison; not fair on them, I should stress. That sounds arrogant, maybe, but it's the truth. With the DS , it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen. But I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that."
- Phil Harrison, president of Sony Worldwide Studios, on comparing PSP to DS in an interview with MCV

There’s this sort of misunderstanding that the Blu-ray disc player for movies is somehow burdening the console with unnecessary cost. That is completely not true... Once we had that storage capacity on Blu-ray Disc, adding the movie playback functionality was extremely cost-effective, [the cost] is actually non-existent."
- Phil Harrison, regarding the wholesale cost of the system’s Blu-ray player

"Nobody will ever use 100% of PS3's capability"
- Phil Harrison, president of Sony Computer Entertainment's Worldwide Studios speaking with MTV news.

"The PlayStation 3 is a computer. We do not need the PC."
- Phil Harrison, president of Sony Worldwide Studios, in an interview with GameSpot

But I must say I'm very flattered....HAHAHAHAHA

Just for the record...
I'd like to let everyone know that I've been a real piece of sh*t over the past few weeks, and that I will admit that my daddy touched me when I was little, so the only way I can get a sense of control in life is to hide behind my computer and run my mouth.
I know I'm immature, and uneducated, but it's all I know because I'm socially handicapped
