And this shows because I never felt like the game tried to push any boundaries. Vandal Hearts stays true to the strategy RPG conventions for better and for worse. The main problem with Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgement is that it is incredibly average.

Vandal Hearts 1 and 2 was great, but the 3rd game was not that good in comparison. I'm sure even FF Tactics was inspired by Vandal Hearts, considering it came before that.

They should add Rocket Knight to that list. I don't think the revival was all that it could have been.
