For those of you somewhat new to the series, Electronic Arts started a new trend with The Sims 2 over the last few years. In addition to releasing expansion packs every six months, EA released "Stuff Packs" to fill in the gaps of the year with no new content. These Stuff Packs contain no new gameplay, but come with dozens of new d?cor options and objects for your Sims to interact with. In short, it expands the Buy and Build Mode catalogues.
Daily Game Sales: Origin has launched a new sale for it's Australian customers offering $20 off all Sims 3 Expansion packs and $10 for all Stuff Packs to compliment it's 50% off Spring Sale starting tomorrow.
Amazon are offering Buy One Get One Free on select range of Sims 3 expansions and stuff packs.
Steam continues its week-long EA-themed sale, with each day offering a different set of discounts. Monday featured the Dragon Age franchise, Tuesday offered savings on Need for Speed, and today you can save on The Sims games, with savings up to 50%.
Good deal on the games. I've already gotten Sims 3 for the PS3 and PC but haven't played too much. I think it's the same reason others give: It doesn't appeal quite as much as the second one did.
