Seriously, their first reason is a wiiware game where you play as a slab of meat. I'll counter that title with Gran Turismo 5. No, I am not going to buy a wii for that game. Wii is a Gamecube at 5 times the price with a controller that isn't precise. That's why 3rd parties are running away from the system with real games and are instead going to make casual games.

Wii's top games are Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Wii Fit. What a great list :|

Not many can get all consoles. At some point you have to consider all libraries to make the final decision, and 3rd parties are starting to port everything to HD consoles from Wii. Wii has yet to get any of the amazing IPs that have graced HD consoles and PC. Considering that 360 online costs and that all its exclusives are on PC (which everyone has) and PS3, there is no reason to get a 360 if you are rational. And now that the novelty is wearing off for the Wii, there are hardly good reasons to get a Wii if you don't like their first party efforts. With PS3 you get most games available on the market, tons of high quality exclusive content, free online play that doesn't suck like it does on Wii, and the best HD multimedia center and blu-ray player, nobody can go wrong getting a PS3. If you want motion controls, PS3 is getting them too.

Actually you can go wrong with the PS3.

As for the 360 and wii, they had something I as a gamer needed. GAMEPLAY. Playing games on games on the PS3 that I can't play on the 360 & wii, felt like a experience at the movies. Yes PS3 games got good graphics, stories, character development and voice acting.
But it's games gameplay is kinda boring IMO (I fell asleep almost every time I played MGS4), and as a gamer gameplay shouldn't be boring. Gameplay, that's all I ( I ) care about in gaming.

So not everyone can go right with the ps3.

Also the Wii is not much different than the gamecube, infact will controls were originally designed as a gamecube add-on.

I only used one game as an example, I can give more if you like.

I already have a Wii, so nothing to worry about here. Gonna be some great games in both 2010 and 2011.

Edit: How can anyone disagree with that? Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Monster Hunter Tri, and Pikmin are just a few of the "hardcore" games coming.

The Wii's sells have down an 360 and PS3 are both coming out with their on motion, PS3's motion controller is going to be better for the fact that it is a controller an it uses the PS Eye with it, so it can do what Natal an the Wii remote both do at once.

Natal is a great idea but lacks somethings, you need alots of room to play it, an the games that Microsoft thinks are a great idea, seem to be dumb idea's do to the fact of "You are the controller".

But both sound an seem alot better then what Wii has so far, I in joy the people that disagree with me and not even say why. Guess they are bored an just clicking on things.

Reasons one through five for me are Other M. It's the first proper third-person 'Troid to appear on a home console since Super Metroid back in 1994. And Sakamoto-san is at the helm.

We've already gotten NMH2 and Tat v. Cap. Toss in Metroid, Galaxy 2, S&P2, MH:Tri, RS2, maybe Zelda...yeah, it's gonna be a good year.

Hey go look up Sony's wand, so far it seems to react faster then the Wii remote with plus, an unlike the Wii, PS3 uses a cam that is much better then alittle bar that can be build at home.

Four LED lights is all you need an set them up like the ones in the Wii bar. Already know people that build their own.

Hey thats exactly what I was doing when i bought a PS3 at launch! But there is a difference sony wasn't hitting the jackpot. If it wasn't for Demon Souls i wouldn't be playing my PS3.

The SNES, N64,DreamCast,PS2 are all inferior in terms of hardware when compared to the PS3, yet I enjoyed my time with them more then I ever will with my PS3.

James, any fool knows sony copied nintendo with the motion controls. Don't lay that as a basis for nintendo being the almighty of which everybody copies from. Everyone copies everyone. Thats business. But you'd be a fool to say sony aren't a company that takes risks and pushes boundaries. While your beloved nintendo was still playing the cartridge game, sony pushed CD technology into consoles, and with it pushed 3D gaming into the mainstream, even when most developers at the time weren't convinced. But it soon convinced even the likes of squaresoft and kojima away from nintendo. Sony still innovate to this day, with hardware and software, from bluray and the bell processor to littlebigplanet and gran turismo. Sales come and sales go, but this generation, the best gaming experience is to be found on the playstation 3. You sound just like all nintendo fans james. Really? I got alot of joy out of my PS3 and how is it PS3's problem their isn't games that keep you coming?

Its the lack of developers putting hard work into most title, the Wii is one of the worst ones, I have only play the Mario Kart for Wii and the Paper Mario one and the newest one.

So far I haven't seen a reason to rebuy a Wii, my gf has one that I can play on and I only play some games on it, I play more PS3 then Wii an I would play 360 more then Wii to.

The Wii lacks titles that make you want to keep playing, so I betting PS3 is going to kick Wii from 1st place like notthing, 360 is most likely to kick the Wii down to 3rd place.

if it wasn't for Ubi and EA, maybe the wii would have less shovelware, same goes for the DS. thank god ubi is finally pulling out. good. there are also other games to own other than just nintendo games, NMH2,TvC,& MHT are all coming out/came out, this year. although i admit, there's tons of crap on the wii, and it sucks we had to wait this long for some good games. there were good games in the past, but know they seem to be releasing more of them.

although, i think, more or less, you'd want to combo the wii. PS3+wii or 360+Wii or, hell, even PC+wii. you wouldn't want the wii alone, other it could gather dust. luckily, i have the HBC on mine, i can play nintendo games through GBA games on my wii

The Wii, this abomination of a console killed my beloved gamecube by making some GCN developed games(ports) exclusive to the Wii, and many Wii fanboys say the price it has this console is justifiable when its actually extremely cheap to develop for...

I still support the current Nintendo through my NDS Lite, but I won't buy the Wii until they drop the price even more...(130$ or below)

This console lacks third party games that appeal to me...
