The Lost Gamer writes "Following Ubisoft's announcement yesterday regarding Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Kimi Matsuzaki, Senior Community Developer for the Publisher, has revealed the current box art for the title."
The pic looks great . http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.n... I wonder if mitchell is back again .
hehe. looks like a space marine but smaller there is also a Gears of War influence to it see the skull logo.
That skull logo was in the first GRAW game... http://www.gamershell.com/s... I hope Mitchell is back. I think he's a badass.
I hope Mitchell's back too, but if the game is set more than 15/20 years after GRAW2, then it's highly unlikely, at least in the field of action. He sounded like a veteran somewhere around 40 years of age in the last game. So if the game is more than 15/20 years after that, he'd be pushing 60, and out of action. Unless of course, he pulls a Rambo-like comeback, which sounds a bit too hollywood-ish.
That box looks a lot like MW2 and the new Medal of Honour boxes! What is it with the side-on solider profile on all these games?
"Remind you of anything?" yeah the GRAW2 boxart http://acegamez.com/wp-cont...
Uhm..."Here's what the box art MIGHT look like!!" Weird news item.
Thats how you know its not real. They dont release box art this long before release, and they sure as hell dont release something and admit its unfinished. Nice photoshop work, but its fake.
Well, as a casual gamer who had never played a shooter, the awesome box art for the GRAW caught my attention and played a small part in me buying the game. It being reviewed very positively factored in a great deal as well. I like this WIP cover. Looks slick as hell.
IMO. can't wait for more details to emerge.
It's an F-16 on legs!!!
Looks pretty much in keeping with previous GR box art to be fair. Wonder of there'll be separate dev teams for console and PC like with GRAW. I'll be REALLY hacked off if the PC version is just a port of the console game....
Knowing Ubisoft's track record for the past 5 years, you're probably going to be disappointed in that department.
