Microsoft were not the first to create in-game to-do lists, but they have become the undisputed champions of the idea. The Xbox 360's fluid, motivating meta-game has bested attempts on other gaming devices to set a list of mostly arbitrary goals, if not in stream-lined ingenious quality, at least in popularity. This is in large part due to the Gamer Score, Microsoft's tallying system that quantitatively gathers all Achievements earned by a particular profile.
