This generation of gaming consoles has proven a lot of things since the XBox 360 launched. Remember the days when the PlayStation 3 was stumbling down a steep hill, with sales numbers faltering up until the price drop and the release of the Slim model? Out of the big three, Sony is, indeed, in 3rd place in total number of consoles sold, lagging behind the 360 by 5 – 6 million units (Wii is at around a ridiculous 67 million).
Gary Green said: We have a juxtaposition of 2D and 3D visuals, flashy turn-based combat, quirky anime characters with cheeky dialogue with plenty of partial nudity; Yes, this is a Compile Heart JRPG. Whilst the engine is borrowed from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Mugen Souls is more of a Disgaea spin-off. It’s not a strategy RPG as such, it merely sits within Disgaea’s ever-expanding universe (Multiverse? Netherverse? Your guess is as good as mine). You won’t find cameos though, since Mugen Souls is a franchise which aims to stand on its own two feet.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
I dunno if i should approve this or report it, it was a good read but im left feelin like i havnt gained anythin from it, a pointless read in other-words
Dont worry Bungie ill post your comment 4-u (copied and pasted from the comments section in the article)
"Ps4 what ? after the great failure and shame that is the PS3 there can’t be a PS4 , what will it be another movie player?, a toy?, no please.
Japanese don’t know how to make a real tech machine like the 360 we Americans are the Gods and Rulers of the videogame world.
Japanese can keep making toys , leave gaming to the Americans"
A 33% failure rate sais hello
This is probably one of the worst articles I've read in a while. It was well-written but it serves no purpose and makes no sense. Why the hell would you be talking about the PS4? Sony isn't...so why are you? PS3 JUST started picking up steam. It's hardware has no need to be replaced for another 5+ years.
its funny, if you read down into the comments page, Bungie made an appearance! man, that made my day
