MyGaming lists 8 of the coolest free indie games available. While there certainly are a variety of blockbuster games being released this month, we don't all have the cash to splash out the likes of Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2. If you aren't going home to the warm embrace of these AAA bombshells this week, fear not - independent games are always there to gently rock you back and forth and whisper sweet nothings into your ear.
"I'm not interested in appealing to the mass market, or selling millions of copies."
CCG writes - "Overall, while it certainly has similarities to Pokémon, it's more a survival-style game that happens to have collectible monster-style features and both are pretty fun. Technically, aside from a few minor gripes with controls and performing certain actions, it's pretty solid and quite stable. Morally, it's got some mild if cartoonish violence with little else of note. Overall, I enjoy Palworld, and if you want a survival sim mixed with collectible monsters to make your pals, this is a great game with those themes."
A love letter to fighting game obscurities, delivering cult classics with modern polish.
