I can't say I have encountered this problem myself but that could be because I am using a quadcore instead of a dualcore. However it is great to see people stepping in where the developers are screwing up (seriously bioware you should be ashamed of yourselves).

Bigpappy5188d ago

Some N4G posters mentioned this problem and I believe it was also in a review. I play on the 360 and the load time are quite good.

shopsmartash5188d ago

I didn't really notice that long of a load time. I'll have to check that out later when I play. Amd X-2 5200 cpu.

RedSky5188d ago

Neither. I've got an E7200 and load times were like 5-8 seconds max.

ChrisW5188d ago

With an i5-750 and 8Gbs of DDR3-1600 RAM, only about 2 or 3 seconds.

sashimi5188d ago (Edited 5188d ago )

This has helped loading times quite a bit, reduced my loading times to about3-5seconds.

I'm using a dual core and I haven't had any problems with load times.

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave17d ago (Edited 17d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
