If Polar Panic looks a little familiar, you're almost definitely old. That's because it shares numerous similarities with 1982 arcade title Pengo, only it's not as good because the lead character's a bear rather than a penguin. Among several other, more justifiable reasons.
For starters, developers Eiconic seem to have the puzzle and old-school arcade genres mixed up, choosing to impose an arbitrary time limit on gameplay that shouldn't have one. The result is a dull, listless experience that only offers a challenge due to artificially imposed constraints. Irritating stuff on dual fronts, then.
