RPGFan: End of Eternity (Resonance of Fate) Impressions

RPGFan writes: "Coming down from three glorious weeks with FFXIII was no easy task. A little yoga, daily meditation, and the occasional bout of Demon's Souls helped get rid of that goofy Square Enix smell that had been hanging around for weeks. My mind thoroughly refreshed, I was ready to move on to my most anticipated JRPG of 2010 – Sega and tri-Ace's ambitiously titled PS3 / Xbox 360 offering End of Eternity, known as Resonance of Fate for the rest of y'all.

Folks with Japanese accounts can download the demo for themselves. It's not terribly long and will reveal precious little of the story. It is essentially a battle simulator that ought to let you know what controlling all those artsy gun battles you saw in the trailers will be like. I am only a few hours into the actual game at this point and have thoroughly gone through the game's training mode to get a sense of what to expect."

The story is too old to be commented.

The PS3 version has a faster framerate than the 360 version.

I've also noticed that the PS3 version also has better textures and apparently the 360 version can't load the doors fast enough (kind of like the same problem in GTA4 where the 360 version had a lot more pop in and would often not be able to load the road fast enough; link at the very bottom to show you what I mean).

lol. faster by just 1. If it was by more than 10fps, it would matter. PS3 version looks palish and washed out.

PS3 version looks washed out? I don't think so. Maybe you were looking at the 360 screenshot because from what Ninji posted it looks like the 360 version was dipped in bleach.

I'm sorry, but you guys sound like two girls who are trying to figure out who has the perkiest nipples. Honestly who cares people will get the one for the system of their choice, especially if they only have one system.

i think any can see that ps3's version is lacking depth of field as well as highlights on various props vs 360's version.

same shots

more shots,

"gasp" oh look, ps3's version is lacking a cogwheel at the top left of this shot.

i think i don't need to point out how much ps3's version is lacking on character detail in these two shots.

even in this shot you can see 360's version is clearer, and has sharper wrinkles on clothing.

I have to LOL at ninji because it's funny that the picture you showed is like the only one that actually advantage the PS3version.

Look at the rest of the comparison screens and you clearly see that the PS3 version is palish and lacking details compared to the xbox360's version. Which I dont expect you to admit.

furthermore some some elements you can see on the xbox360 screenshots are missing from the PS3's version. One example is the wheel on the top left of the screen MGS pointed out above.

xbox version

missing on the ps3

Just look @ the necklace on that girl's neck. You clearly see the details on the xbox360 screens and on the PS3s its all blured out.Even her bow-tie is missing details.

I'm not saying the PS3 version is bad but I find it stupid that people agree with ninji and bubble him up back to 3 bubbles when most of his arguments are false and biased.
