RespawnAction: "After experiencing MAG and going back to another first person shooter, I feel like MAG has really raised the bar, and that other FPS' are now missing something. I remember how Bad Company 1 also made me say this exact same thing. I was blown away by the destructibility in the game and felt it was above any other shooter. I couldn't enjoy another shooter as much as Bad Company, and now I feel MAG has even trumped it with all of it's features, even without destruction. I enjoyed the Bad Company 2 beta a lot and couldn't wait to get my hands on it, but then MAG came out. I had no intention of even getting the game until a week before release. A great decision by me, and I'm sure by a lot of other people."
Cultured Vultures: In the spirit of preserving some kind of history of this industry, we’ve decided to list some of the best games that you just simply can’t get hold of digitally at the minute.
I just started playing Spec op. I've had it for years on steam and forgot about it. Such a good game.
Honorable mention to the excellent Driveclub, one of the best racing games of all-time and one of my favourite games ever.
Outrun Online Arcade, Sega Rally Online Arcade, After Burner Climax... all good stuff. I keep my 360 hooked up to play these as well as the TMNT games that were also delisted.
wow...I have all of them except the Nintendo ones either in physical or digital version.
Also..Deadpool the Game is missing on that list.
With the franchise’s mainline entries failing to find their footing in recent years, now is the perfect time for a Battlefield: Bad Company remake.
Of course there is no counter argument. This is what fans of the franchise have wanted for years. This and/or BF Bad Company 2.
When asked why there hasn't been another Bad Company:
“There's one thing that lingers with Bad Company that we've been asking ourselves: What is it that the people really liked about Bad Company?" DICE general manager Karl Magnus Troedsson told Eurogamer.
Troedsson says that he and his team can’t put their fingers on what it is that people loved about that branch of the brand. “It's hard for people to articulate what that is, which is actually hard for us,” he says. “It would be hard to remake something like that. Can we do it? Of course. We have our theories when it comes to the multiplayer."

Battlefield Bad Company 2, Dead Space 2, Crysis 3, and a handful other EA games have finally had their online services shut down.
I had no idea that Bad Company 2 was still running, and only now that I know, I want to jump on! 😥
BF1943 is the only online MP game that I was genuinely interested in. Been playing since launch 14 years ago. Hate that I couldn't put in as much time to play as I'd hoped for during the final week.
Dead Space 2...... I wasn't even aware that had multiplayer. Nevermind that it was apparently one of their best multiplayers!
Dead Space 2 multiplayer had been hanging on for years - I'd boot my PS3 up to see some familiar names in lobbies. This will definitely be missed!
"I guess, the only people who can feel what I am talking about are those who've played it."
Damn straight, its a fantastic game and I cant stop playing it. Before people critise the game they should actually play the damn game, but alas people see the reviews and are put off. But hey, all I know is that im enjoying the hell out of it.
MAG is incredible. I'm addicted to the game. I think I never been so hooked for a multiplayer game before.
I feel the same that the author. MAG raised the bar for FPS and those 7/10 from casuals wont be able to hide it.
I agree. The size and scope of MAG definitely raise the bar up a notch and have got me hooked. Every battle is so dynamic in a way that the smaller scale of other games simply can't match. I don't think any game of smaller scale is going to be able to top MAG for me personally.
i agree 1million% .. one you experience MAG you wont want to downgrade unless its something bigger then mag (MAG 2?) .. the game has really done something no other game has done before.. its givin the players Replayability,Gameplay thats fun beyond any other FPS (on par w/KZ2 imo),2 5 6 wopping players with controlled chaos and nothing but awesome teamwork.
ever since i bought the game and played it NON STOP,it has tought me the fundamentals of the importance of teamwork, and everytime i go and play either NHL 10,Uncharted 2 or someother team oriented game,i cant help but focus on my priorities of working as a team :)
MAG has done to me this gen what Goldeneye did for me 2 gens ago :)
and EVERYONE that i talk to of my friends that HUGE counterstrike and battelfield 2 /1942 fans have told me how m,uch this game is identical and soo much better in many ways.. for them, its their Console Counterstrike/battlefield 2 .
from us gamers experience with the garbage media about MAG,this is the one game that gamers took over and said "STFU and GTFO cuz MAG is here to stay b!tches!!!! " .. the only reason someone would NOT like this game is 3 reasons.
1)they follow the media's biased stench.
2)they played it and got owned for not working as a team and had a fit and took it back.
3)not nooby glitching campers like MW2,Halo 3 ect ect..
So MAG was a mistake?
