This to me says that we are not really ready to be mature adults here. When perverted people can use video games as a means of obtaining sexual content from minors, it validates my belief that we're not really ready to see sexual content in games. Are we mature, can we handle it? Are we going to be responsible? Or are we going to do perverted things in exchange for virtual game currency?

There's a difference between video game violence and sexual content in video games. When a guy plays a violent video game, he does not suddenly get the urge to go out and kill people. At least, generally not. However, viewing sexual content in video games does still stimulate sex hormones in people, in much the same way as seeing pornography. And this can influence people to go and masturbate (at best) or commit these kinds of heinous crimes (at worst).

Obviously, the majority of people will only go and masturbate to it, which is okay, I guess.
