USA Today writes: "Who: Morgan Webb, co-host of G4 show X-Play, which celebrates its 1,000th episode on February 1.

Editor's note: Instead of a firm top five favorites, Webb is listing five noteworthy games that delivered "fresh" gameplay concepts during the past decade."

This is not a "best games of the decade" list. Pay attention people.
Boring read in any case though.

The Real Top 5:
Halo
World of Warcraft
GTA
COD
Mass Effect

That's a real list. Okami is just a stupid choice, Morgan needs to be knocked in the head!

Kind of an underwhelming list overall.

doctorspakles5194d ago

Agreed. Those games may make the list if it was 50 games. But if those were truly the best of the decade then what a sad decade.

BeaArthur5194d ago

Yeah that's what I thought. Some good titles but other than GoW (and I also understand WoW) the rest of those games should not be on the list.

Amplitude5193d ago (Edited 5193d ago )

would be-

5) Burnout 3 - Arguably the best racing game ever
4) God of War 2 - The best action game ever
3) Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - The best action/adventure game ever >.>
2) Socom 2 - Possibly the best online shooter i've ever played.
1) Amplitude - The greatest community, online, gameplay, soundtrack, remix mode, etc. Greatest game ever. of all time.

If you disagree with anything, then suck my balls. :p

<honorable mentions: Resistance: Fall of Man, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Beyond Good and Evil, GitarooMan, Rock Band, Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Shadow of the Colossus, Gran Theft Auto San Andreas>

Oh, and if anybody thinks that any Halo or Call of Duty game is better then the games i mentioned then you are retarded. Thanks. >.>

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
