Me and My Dogs: Friends Forever is one of the more enjoyable titles from Gameloft on the DSiWare service. The thrill of raising a virtual pet will make some young gamers scream with envy, and for good reason, too. Compared to NIntendogs, Me and My Dogs: Friends Forever is a steal seeing as the game is only a quarter of Nintendo's own creation.
The lack of a fourth pet or the visual style may make some gamers a little turned off from the game, but don't be fooled - Me and My Dogs: Friends Forever is a great piece of software and a bargain . If you enjoy pet simulators, don't hesitate in giving it a try.
Diehard GameFAN writes: For the first time that I can remember, the WiiWare update was looked forward to by a lot of people. Nintendo's usually secretive about their plans for their games (as proven way back in '08, when they pulled an end-around on three companies as retribution for them leaking their updates early), but we knew ahead of time that a well anticipated game – Muscle March – was coming today. We'll tell you more about that title in a little bit, but that's the lead title in what might be the best week Nintendo's had for their download services in a long time.
Nintendo Life writes: "Me and My Dogs: Friends Forever is a curious title: it's unashamed of its Nintendogs roots, but rather than simply following the leader of the pack it earnestly tries to make its own mark. It's a virtual pet sim, focused on raising a small pack of puppies and training them for various competitions."
