CSM writes: "Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders follows the same plot as the famed mystery writer's similarly titled book. Detective Hercule Poirot receives letter from someone calling himself ABC and announcing in advance murders he plans to commit in different British cities. Poirot travels around the country interviewing suspects, most of whom say things like, "I'll only answer your questions if you can solve this riddle." Random brainteaser puzzles are presented to Poirot through the game. At the end of the story, the player must correctly identify the murderer or risk starting the game all over."
Daily Video Game writes: "Today, eShop has launched a new digital sale on Capcom, Ratalaika Games, Microids, and DrinkBox Studios' games for Nintendo gamers right now, offering steep discounts on several of their popular games!"
WTMG's Heidi Hawes: "While Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders has the right idea in terms of how to best present a murder mystery in video game form, it unfortunately misses the mark. Having to exit the game and come back after completing a few tasks really kills the immersion and flow. I also think not making use of the Switch’s touchscreen was a huge missed opportunity. However, the puzzles are a lot of fun, even if they are often a tad too easy. That’s not to mention how engaging the story is, which is to be expected being taken from one of the greatest literary minds of all time. If you’re a fan of murder mysteries and solving puzzles, then Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders might be worth investigating for yourself."
