Game Frag writes: One of m favorite things about gamer culture is watching it grow. From watching the hit first season of WCG Ultimate gamer, to seeing the excitement that revolves around the world of pro gaming on YouTube or basically any other venue possible. Among it all, I have recently become a big fan of pro gamer Adande Thorne a.k.a sWoozie, a very talented and highly entertaining pro gamer. He specializes in fighting games as well as telling some very funny and captivating stories on his YouTube video logs. I recently got the chance to have a chat with sWooZie and see what he had to say about many recent developments in pro gaming and the industry itself.

Honestly would be nice, but this game is such a complete product. I have been spending hours just cleaning up the mini bosses. I found such an over power build and when I got to Frozen Heart it was just EASY party the three dancers to 300k exp over and over.
I haven’t even gone to the Axons yet and I am pretty sure the rest of the game is going to be a cake walk. I beat sprong just a bit ago and MAN did I over kill. And NOW I got the cheater Picto? It’s over the enemy never getting a turn lol
Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has proven that there is an audience for turn based game play, but what else has been doing that all along?
Yea but what we need back is that classic square turn based combat and for AAA not to be afraid to go back to it. It is also just so frowned upon. Yet look at clair obscur, persona, and plenty of games that are beloved.
i mean, ever since Final Fantasy move away from it, u really only had Atlus and Dragon quest 12.
its a shame that asquare feels the need to move away from it.
but im glad that exp33 brought it back, wkth alot of success.
like can u imagine ff16 or ff7 remake to be like that? daaaym.
I've always loved both turn-based and action rpgs. For me, it's the overall combat flow and mechanics that interest me more than whether I'm moving around or standing still.
I played 300+ hours of P3Reload, SMTVengence and Metaphor last year. And Metaphor was a GOTY contender last year. As was infinite wealth.
So i don't know where this Turn based games are dead narrative is coming from...
Xbox Cloud Gaming adapts to how you play—Touchscreen, controller, or mouse. Here’s how they’re helping devs support it all.
Not into the pro gaming stuff, his take on why the 360 is dominant in the pro gaming scene is interesting, not sure how far it goes though.
Oh he so pro.
Very cool man.
