Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.
This week brings Mass Effect 2, MAG, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and No More Heroes 2 to retailers in North America, as Japan gets a Nintendo DS remake of Dragon Quest VI.
The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending January 30th, 2010.
Space opera fans deserve a chance to experience the vastness of Infinite Space, and Sega needs to make up for its mistake.
I still go back to Infinite Space from time to time. Probably the most underrated game I ever played.
CCG writes - "If you enjoy games like Factorio, Sixty Four is worth checking out. The asking price of $5.99 is very reasonable. On the title screen you can import/export your Base64 encrypted save file. This is handy to know if you want to make any edits. Otherwise you can enjoy picking up where you left off with the Steam cloud support."
MonsterVine: "Another Crab’s Treasure might be one of the most delightful games you’ll play this year, and is great fun for veterans or newcomers to the genre."
Say a prayer for TvsC and No More Heroes 2 everybody. We all know Mass Effect doesn't need them :P
I agree to an extent, and have a feeling that neither game will sell notably well Day 1 (competing against each other, and whatnot), but will have a minimum of .5 Million each by the end of either February or March.*shrug* So I'm planning to praise the games, not pray for them.
Either way, I can't wait to play all three. (Mass Effect 2 on my brother or dad's 360)
