GameZone writes: "Outside of Japan, few gamers have had the chance to get some hands-on experience with Sakura Wars. But later this year, NIS America will bring over Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love, the latest game in the strategy/RPG series. For those who are unfamiliar with the franchise, Editor/Script Writer Nick Doerr gives us the rundown.
"The series generally involves an 'alternate reality world' utilizing 'steam powered' mechanical robots ... and the group of pilots who use them to fight off evil," he says. "It's a pretty fun premise and it reminds me so much of classic 'team' shows like Power Rangers or Voltron. Of course, Sakura Wars is way, way cooler than those, since it has a greater number of cute anime girls, hahaha."
