After 10 years of DVDs, format future uncertain

It's been 10 years since DVDs and players became available to the public. As the home media industry's movers and shakers gather in Century City, California, starting Monday for the two-day Home Entertainment Summit, much of the talk centers around next-generation high-definition software and hardware. Consumers are buying DVD titles in the competing Blu-Ray and HD-DVD formats in growing numbers.
