At Diablo 3's Heart: Tristram

Tristram is a place of legend, and it's returning for the third time in three games, making it the most visited location in all of the Diablo games.

There's much more to it than just a dungeon full of monsters and treasure, however!

I love it that they are bringing back the Diablo I feel in D3.

Dorjan5625d ago

Yeah, to bring back memories

Maticus5625d ago

It's very atmospheric, looking forward to visiting it again soon.

Cogo5625d ago

If you by "atmospheric" mean "dark and brooding", then absolutely :)

That town has gone through so much, so much lore. I am suprised that it hasn't had a book based on it yet.

Terrice5625d ago

Indeed, it seemed to get the short end in D2 though. It's great to see this town getting some more attention in D3.

thereapersson5625d ago

It's nice they managed to rebuild Tristram! I wonder how they will incorporate re-access to the town after what happened between D1 and D2?

moondragon5625d ago

Agree with that, i hope they bring the beautiful music back as well

Cogo5625d ago

Oh man, I'll get so pissed if that guitar isn't in there!

Leord5625d ago

I had a mega DnD session this past Sunday, and the host of our little geek fest brought out the guitar and played it. Shivers down my spine I say!

EpicSheep5625d ago

More to it than monsters and treasure? Do you need more? Good times looting Wirt's leg back when i was 12:D

Leord5625d ago

Shut it! You're making me feel old!

Diablo 4 and Diablo 3 teams change structure in an attempt to release less buggy seasons

Via Diablo’s global director of community Adam Fletcher, Blizzard is introducing new measures to improve the quality of season launches in the future. Across both Diablo 4 and the aging Diablo 3, fans of Blizzard’s games should all benefit.

anast129d ago

If they didn't let the cellphone guy touch the 3rd one in first place, they wouldn't have to dance around like clowns trying to make money.

Xristo129d ago

We've been asking for less "boring" seasons... "boring"... not "buggy"... same ol' rehashed content just a different color is not working.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

thorstein499d ago

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.

Diablo III - Still a Huge Draw in the Face of Diablo IV

Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.

Palitera808d ago

Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?

kevco33808d ago

Heh, yeah. There's no comparison in here! Its a commentary on how III is still very playable over a decade later.
