PS3 RPGs of Early 2010 [RPGSite]

The Playstation 3 had a tough couple of years for RPGs. After the PS2 being the go-to machine for RPG fans, many of the genre's biggest hitters - including games like Star Ocean, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Tales of Vesperia and The Last Remnant either being exclusive to Xbox 360 or appearing on the 360 far earlier than the PS3.

It was rough, but 2010 is the year that PS3 RPGs strike back - and hard - with a fantastic line-up of RPGs, both exclusive and multi-platform.

Here's the Top PS3 RPGs of early 2010 - and this only covers the first half of the year!

The Last Rebellion
3D Dot Games Heros

The Last Rebellion is on there! 3D Dot Heroes is debatable - is it an RPG or an Action Adventure?

I can't imagine not owning Demon's Souls or Vakyria Chronicles. I think these two games are some of the greatest games I have played... so I do not feel like I was being short-changed as far as RPGs are concerned.

FFXIII is day one, WKC is a "maybe when the price drops" , and the rest are "I dunno?".

I've been hearing a lot of mixed opinions on the new Final Fantasy. As far as I am concerned, I have yet to be disappointed by a FF proper.

One of the few 7th gen game that I'll full heartedly support for a remake.
Its a very unique RPG and deserves its faults fixed the 2nd time.

I would be so for this. Alpha Protocol is the definition of a diamond in the rough. Before being acquired by Microsoft, Obsidian presented their ideas for a sequel, multiple times, but were always shot down. Even something simple like a remaster is very unlikely.

Still have a physical copy for my PS3. Clunky at times but I had a lot of fun with it back in the day.

Had some issues but that game was brilliant.
