With another dragon-singed RPG looming large this winter, it's hard to see anyone who'll be keen enough to say that final goodbye to their scaly chums; you'd have to be seriously upset with them to dedicate serious time to the unspectacular A Farewell to Dragons.
SquareGo writes "A fusion of a very well designed fantasy world with a neat and simply entertaining, if somewhat unoriginal, role playing game, penned by famous Russian fantasy fiction authors Sergey Lukyanenko and Nikolay Perumov, A Farewell to Dragons is the second title from young developers Arise."
If you're looking for a fun RPG with plenty to see and do this might be worth a go, but for depth or a decent plot: look elsewhere. While Dragons might be a wholesale copy of better RPGs, and tick every RPG cliché in existence, it just can't stand up on its own as a classic title.
Game-Debate writes "The introduction to AFTD is somewhat promising. Your character, a Doctor from our world called Victor, narrates a story which sees an injured girl called Telle turn up on his doorstep."
