Sony Corp. this month demonstrated the latest build of Gran Turismo 5 for the Playstation 3 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV.
god dam, dont u hate when they have Video in the title, but only end up talking about the video, without any footage at all?
There's a video link in the article.
I hate watching people play GT now...now that damage is added all people want to do is crash. Race you damn n00bs.
i thought they might have rehashed the HUD!
Seriously, I know what you mean. These journalists never seem to know the first thing about racing. Case in point, when he says at the beginning "this car seems a lot stronger than the last one". Duh. Its a 458 italia.
I never use the in car view so im not used to it LOL But this video does make me wonder about one thing. Will there be cars with the wheel on the right side of the vehicle too? You know, since cars outside America are like that. "Foreign cars" (im American, but i know many on this site are not) That would be another nice touch if they do.
Most of the countries wheels are at the left side of the cars like in America. I think there is only one country in Europe, where wheels are at the right side of the cars, and that is UK. There is both kind of cars in GT5.
The sense of speed seems very realistic while in the ****pit view. LOL at N4G censorship!
The speed is awesome in the cawkpit view
keep showing cokpit views, what is the game unplayable in 3rd person view? How does it not occur to these guys that we want to see the cars, not how crappy the video makers can drive, geez.
If the user is in a racing chair/wheel combo of course they're going to play in ****pit view for the full experience why would you play in 3rd person mode...WE WANT TO SEE THE CARS!... the guy playing obviously wants to see the full experience of being inside of the car not a camera behind it.
Havent we seen enough c0ckpit views? I'm with you, give us some behind the car views, lots of us drive like that.
http://www.youtube.com/watc... 45 secs in.a replay shot but you get the idea
1. This guy driving sucks 2. The dash looks amazing 3. Who the fvck drives a real car in 3rd person, that view is obsolete and if you want to look at the cars thats what replays are for. p.s. sorry if I offended anybody with #3
GT5 is by far the best driving simulator . Better graphics , more cars (1000), better physics , realistic Damage , night racing ,weather changes , 16 cars at the same time on track , realistic cokpit view , youtube HD uploads , Headtracking etc etc etc... That´s Polyphony Digital .
"Jizz in my pants"....AHHAHHAHA The REAL Driving Sim.
day 1, day 1 possibly import since it will be out in other territory first.
Even off screen and such a low quality, it looks sooooo good, the lighting on the interior is amazing
Thats not GT. The lighting is too good. They've obviously just filmed a real car and posted it as a game. They must think we'll believe anything. ;) . . . . . . Yes that is FKN sarcasm.
anybody know the release date? is it confirmed March?
at big gai!!!!lmao bot are dropping their line, this is turning around to fast.
I think the guy who is playing played too much arcady racing games like Shift, Forza 3 and drit2, he doesn't even break before he gets the corner, what a noob.
I'm sorry but that driving sucked, it looked like someone's been playing too many arcade racers.
Yup you can't race like a 12 year old in GT and expect to win. Been a veteran player and ive always enjoyed GT for rewarding players who spend time mastering it and punishing those that think that its an arcade game.
We get to see that journalists are not very good drivers. I would not trust to sit in a bus or taxi driven by one. /s
Invite the best Forza 3 player , invite the best GT5 player... get them to race in a real race car, and see who survives it... :)
Looks amazing, but just heard of the delay. Want more information. I want it badly also. Just like everyone.
