tying something like Xi into a game like this? That would make for an awesome gaming experience and would probably sell more copies on release.

DoucheVader3603d ago

That is a fabulous idea. They may even be able to use some of the in game assets.

doctorstrange3603d ago

I doubt it'll happen, but that would be awesome

What is Xi? I'm looking forward to this game.

Redempteur3603d ago (Edited 3603d ago )

Xi was an interractive mistery game based on home with clues spammed on the real world and in Home.
Each day home user of the xi space would get a new clue ( puzzle , hint , video to watch , website to finc clues within )to solve xi or a mini game to play ( not counting week-ends ).

it lasted over 3 month and it was fun ..
Many theories started on what xi was seeing that ( in the setting of the game ) several people claimed that xi was their property and asked for your help ( you had to choose sides )

Xi became way too big for what the creators had intended to do ..another proof that mature content is welcome for playstation users and that home users are more numerous than the average people think...

Anyway the story reached an end and most of the spaces were closed except the first 2 areas where you can use the mini-games to this day ...
( the foroms of xi in the playstation foroms are still open , and you can check the kind of debates we had at the time ).

Another adventure like Xi would be awesome IMO

It would be cool, if you could use clues from the game, and go into the Heavy Rain space to solve things. Like having the police station you could go to to solve things, gather clues.

I wonder what kind of mini-game the HOME space would have too.

Home could use some cool mature content.

decimalator3603d ago

Home *IS* mature content.

But I agree, Home could use an interactive pr0n space. Now THAT'S why they brought Dualshock back baby!

T3mpr1x3603d ago (Edited 3603d ago )

Yeah something better than some furry costume please!

doctorstrange3603d ago

It'll be nice to have some heavier content on Home

decimalator3603d ago

Including a crotchety old SAS captain named Price, change the title to Call of Duty: The Origami Killer and call it good?

nogolis3603d ago

Oh, boy... More boring space taking up bandwidth in Home. I'm sure it'll be loaded with exciting content, like every Home space offers up too. Can't wait!!!

doctorstrange3603d ago

And Home is self sustainable meaning that Sony aren't diverting resources away from other stuff.

Lifewish3603d ago

home is really not that bad and as doctor said, you don't have to install it

karan86243603d ago

I dont like home. Theres nothing to do, if I want to chat with friends there the XMB chat. And if you dont go on for a month its like a 10 minute download update.

The worst part is you can use your avatar for you PSN profile

I'm sorry but ALL Sony PS3 exclusive games should have a Home space. Period. If barely any 3rd-party copies are going to support it besides premium costumes..then Sony needs to take charge, dammit!

Anyway, I hope this is true. They need to pimp this game out starting...NOW!

doctorstrange3603d ago

At least with most major exclusive games, although I don't want shoddy Home spaces cause they end up stretching themselves too thin.

Redempteur3603d ago (Edited 3603d ago )

uncharted 2 , sodium , ea sports , infamous are examples of good home space ... not only it promote your games but it make people come back for more.

Some space did it well ..content that make you come back for more ...because as a publisher the more people that stay in your space , the better.

BUt others just didn't do enough

it's too late but i wouldn't have said no to some wipeout hd space
