Six Games that Will Define 2010

Identifying these titles in advance is a little like trying to headshot a machine gunner from the beaches of Allied Assault's Normandy, but it's an interesting topic so Video Games Daily is having a go regardless. Here, then, are six games they think 2010 will be remembered for. You'll notice a few controversial omissions, some of which are on the longlist at the article finish.

Anyway, why is Natal? I mean I get that he thinks Natal will influence the way games are played so it fits, but I disagree and think that it won't have an impact because most people that wanted a Wii or Eyetoy already have it.

Removing tactile feedback in a controller wasn't a good idea. I sold back time crisis 4 cause it had no recoil. And I have a wii for these sorts of games and if they let the sony wand control FPS then it's the best of both worlds.

My xbox is for irkuga and geometry wars and games that were poorly ported to ps3, if I want games that use motion controls I'll stick to the wii until the other systems and developers on them prove themselves.

Milo and Kate could be interesting. It's a Molyneux game though, so I'm taking all the hype with a pinch of salt.

No metroid was stupid. Team ninja does 3d metroid in third person and they don't mention it. Also there was a retarded omission of SMG 2. I think they narrowed the list to 6 to generate flamebait and "controversial" link clicking. Natal isn't even a game but the unreleased concept is an excellent way to get people arguing.

Wow, Need for Speed Online and Medal of Honor are going to define 2010, I never would have guessed.

This article is really stupid. The only good games that were listed were Heavy Rain and The Legend of Zelda.

Implying GT5 will have any effect on the way we play games. Mass Effect 2, Bayonetta, Alan Wake, and Halo: Reach will define most of 2010.
