Level7.nu: This year's best games in 2009

The dutch website Level7 has awarded GOTY 2009 to Uncharted 2. GTA: Chinatown Wars was nominated as GOTY 2009 award for the portable section. Flower won GOTY 2009 award for the downloadable section.

Bioshock - A Good butboring game
oblivion --haha a wrpg with no story
fallout - are u kidding me. it is the most overrrated game with no story and horrible graphics
mgs 4 --good but no uncharted 2
mass effect- a crap game thats hugely overrrated

you never played uncharted 2. there is nothing on either console that comes close to UC2

obviously the game isn't to everyones tastes, but you can't argue that it's not quality. If any game deserves to be recognised as the best game so far this gen it is uncharted2.

edit: yes mgs4 as well but uncharted2 has recieved critical aclaim across the board whereas some sites didn't like MGS4's heavy emphasis on story.

Dude, the best game of the generation is based on opinion! You'll never have 100% agreeing on a single game. Each game can be the best in your eyes.

But the game industry is judged by different opinions cause there are different standards for everyone that a game must fulfill.

Bioshock, MGS4, and Mass Effect all have better stories than UC2. Most people would probably say UC has better gameplay for the simple fact that it's easier to pick up and play than games like the ones you mentioned, but I personally like MGS4's gameplay more (I'm a big stealth fan). Besides visuals nothing about UC2 is better than anything you'd fine in any other game and if you think so then that's just your opinion.

Why not aim that comment at him? He's the one that said UC2 is the best this gen. I was just telling him otherwise. I know it's his opinion, but people preach that same bs like it's a fact. If that wasn't bad enough he tried to prove his point by trying to make other games look bad.

Why not go to where the majority of reviewers think of the game? Everyone's got their own opinion but that does not change the fact that this is one of the "best" reviewed (if not the best reviewed exclusive) games this generation.

it is recognized at metacritic and Uncharted 2 has been getting GOTY from most sites if u are unaware
