If this is comedy, put it in BadJoystick.com. MODS, HOW DOES THIS KEEP ON HAPPENING?! This is a "comedic" article, why does it still exist here?

yeah good one kotaku, haha, did you think this would be funny before or after your weekly underage cosplay galleries.
jesus know your god damn limits for once, this guy was in solitary confinement for two and a half years and you think making a gaming article is entirely relevant?

Sunny_D5222d ago

Look at the title. It was asking for hits. Like being subjected to a videogame console is horrible after being subjected to torture. Yeah sure. Extremists being Sony Fanboys? Please, this console war is ridiculous. Kotaku go into a sh!tter and die.

rekonizakilla5222d ago

the 4 militairy personel protecting him were all executed, and when he had been blind folded b4 his release, he thought he too, would be shot.
As Alan Partridge would say " Sub-Human scum"

-EvoAnubis-5221d ago (Edited 5221d ago )

Couldn't agree more. There isn't a damned thing funny about this scenario, but Kocrapu as usual has to find a way to make some damned amusing article out of it. See, it's sh*t like this that makes me hate Kotaku.

Edit: Read the comments....the fans of the site are actually worse than the people writing the 'articles.' More positive proof that one should not underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

redsquad5221d ago

To read the comments, I have to visit the site - Something I utterly refuse to do.

DasBunker5221d ago

@Evo

exactly my toughts.. i was gonna post the same a few hours ago when i read the "article"..

no wonder theyre fans of kotaku.. this POS site should be banned from N4G.. not even the most hardcore fanboys here are like that..

Bigpappy5221d ago (Edited 5221d ago )

I wouldn't be able to take it. I would have asked the guard to finish me off. 2 years off Playstation is waaaay too much, very inhumane.

nycredude5221d ago

bigpappy

Maybe you would prefer two and a half years of torture, c0ckmeat sandwich, and a electric probe up your ass instead?!

Seriously this a new low in game writing. From now on I will NEVER call it gaming journalism cause that is a slap in the face of REAL journalism.

Eddie201015221d ago

The situation he describes is not something to take lightly. Mike Fahey should be ashamed of himself for using this mans situation and the deaths of his bodyguards to get hits for his site, to get a laugh, and as flame bait against Sony and Playstation or even as a console article at all.

This mans situation is real life and is much more important than a console or fanboy flame bait.

rockleex5221d ago (Edited 5221d ago )

Worst punishment ever.

-EvoAnubis-5221d ago

100% fair. Normally, I'd be right there with you. The only reason I clicked on the link was to see if at least fans of the site had the decency to have the same issue with this article as we did. They did not.

Static-X5222d ago

But I wonder what games the Iraqis let him play?

Bereaver5222d ago

Modern Warfare 2? lololol

Nah, probably just a PS1 right?

Static-X5222d ago

I can't think of any Iraqi propaganda games on that system though :P

Mr Bot5221d ago (Edited 5221d ago )

and best of food of that they have and not bad accommodation for their prisoners because Islam order us to treat the prisoners with all care and guess what Americans do in return??

1: torture in all the secret or not secret prisons in the world
2: more torture to the point of death
3: more wars and rapes and killings
4: more of everything that is cruel to their prisoners and non prisoners from the Islamic followers!!!

I remember Jesus peace be upon him said in the bible that you will know between and false prophet and a true prophet from their fruit(teachings/followers of those teachings)! a bad tree will bring bad fruits and a good tree will bring good fruits!!!

and if any body study Islam not from an anti Islam resources, then they will know what a good fruit prophet Mohamed peace be upon him had brought to humanity!

unfortunately the media is on all out full war on Islam with the help of their secret intelligent members in al-qaida!!

the latest joke is the failed bombing of the American airplane!!! any one who knows of politics will know that the reason for this attack is to justify the killing of innocents and the involvement in Yemen!!

if they want terrorist then they are sitting in big palaces for 30+ years and they are often called presidents(am talking about Muslims president/dictators)

@UPDATE

sorry i read that the shia dogs militia have killed four of his body guards! thats not from the teaching of islam!! any way shia are inventors who invented many bad things which is not from islam and they are dogs to Iran!!

ULTIMATE_REVENGE5222d ago (Edited 5222d ago )

A TV, Games Console and a Laptop is more than enough

Tales Of Graces Ƒ Retro Review – Holding Out For a Hero

Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.

I agree, I consider the first one a cult classic already

isarai3d ago

You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is

CrimsonWing693d ago

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.

solideagle3d ago

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion

Abnor_Mal3d ago

Doesn’t Microsoft own the IP now since they acquired Activision?

DaReapa2d ago

No. Square Enix owns the IP.

Abnor_Mal2d ago

Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

*As per Wikipedia

boing12d ago (Edited 2d ago )

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.
