Criterion Games tease new 2010 title

This is good news but for me, Burnout Paradise was too overwhelming. There was literally TOO MUCH to do. Burnout 3 is still the best Burnout to me. If Criterion is making a driving game, there gunna need something innovative to compete with Split/Second.

Don't worry. Black 2 will be announced before 2011 I bet. Likely it will release in 2011 though.

I am happy that Criterion is working on next Need for Speed. I hope its a new Hot Pursuit game as well. That would be awesome if so.

god i hope they make it like burnour then (well i don't like damage on neeed for speed) but im talking open world like n4s underground or most wanted, i'm actually looking forward to this since its criteria and burnout is still one of my favorite racing game ever

I disagree with EAs move here. I think they should rotate Need for Speed games with Burnout games like how Activision rotates Infinity Ward games and Treyarch games (Burnout in 2008, NFS in 2009, Burnout in 2010, ect.) and they should give NFS a realistic approach while Burnout has a arcade approach. That way EA could start to take over the racing genre with a guaranteed Burnout/NFS every two years. Instead we get NFS: Shift, Forza 3, GT5, and now NFS again and I HATE realistic racing games :( I just want Burnout

So they're making another NFS, well that sucks. I've been waiting for a new Burnout game for one whole year because Paradise was a massive disappointment and that's coming from a true Burnout fan, Paradise is to easy and it's nothing like 1,2,3 or 4 and that's what ruined it for me.

Hopefully this is a new Burnout and PLEEEEAASE Criterion lay off the open world BS.

EA needs to expand Criterion so they can push out a new burnout and black 2. Rumor has it that they are working on a NFS game but I would rather them work on their own games like Burnout and Black 2. It is taking them a long time to release their games so I rather them concentrate on Burnout and Black 2. NFS shift is an excellent game, EA should just allow the developer of NFS Shift to continue to develop NFS games.
