For PlayStation 3 2009 represented a banner year for gamers as many blockbuster titles were released on to console. Games like Killzone 2, inFamous, Uncharted 2: Among Theives, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. With 2009 coming to a close, it's time to set our sights on 2010, a year filled with the most amazing PS3 line-up yet. We've done the dirty work and compiled a list of the best games set to grace the PS3 in 2010 in what will be the console's best year yet.
The PlayStation 3 is Sony’s most interesting home console ever, but what’s most interesting of all is trying to nail down the very best games on a console with hundreds of incredible games. Let’s give it a shot.
Sly Thieves in Time
Stay the Party
Portal 2
Dj Hero
Demon’s Souls
God of war Ascension
I've noticed a recent nostalgia for the PS3 and I don't get it for me it's been my least favourite generation to date and I've been gaming since the NES I just feel like the ambition of the developers outweighed the capabilities of the consoles so I remember lots of games running in the lower end of 20fps range and I remember for the first time ever actually disliking the duelshock 3 and it's curved triggers
Sure there were some standouts and great games but that's the only gen I switched entirely to PC gaming
Shu Yoshida, former Head of Worldwide Studios at SIE, has shared some insight on the development struggles faces by The Last Guardian.
This game made a huge impact on me, the friendship beetween the boy and Trico reminded me of my old stubborn dog that was my friend when I was a kid.
The first game that ever made me cry, I love it
Sony Interactive Entertainment's titles Bloodborne and The Last Guardian are now playable on the Steam Deck via emulation.
Give me them all.
Man 2010 is gonna hurt my bank account. It's a great time to be a PS3 owner :)
I heard PS3 has no games!
*Runs away followed by an angry mob*
Anyway yeah, next year is really going to hurt especially if you add in the multiplatform games. I mean this is what any gamer would love and live for, but at the same time it sucks since their may not be enough time to finish the games :p, nor enough funds to get them all. I know for a fact I won't be able to get GT5 till roughly around summer time...
Isnt modnation racers a spring release?
My only conern is the spacing of their lineup. If most of their games will be available by mid summer, then what will be set up for the fall quarter and Christmas season. Hopefully Sony will have more in store come E3 10.
