Like virtually all Steelseries products, the Xai gaming mouse is an unassuming powerhouse that packs a lot of features under the hood and some unique features to put it ahead of its peers.
Enter the Xai
The Xai is the newest gaming mouse from professional gaming gear maker Steelseries. Like other high-end gaming mice, the Xai features programmable buttons and supports a fairly standard feature set for PC gaming mice: Up to 5001 (yes, 5001) DPI, multiple DPI settings, DPI-switching on-the-fly, and onboard memory for storing user-configuration profiles. It also features adjustable acceleration, a total of 8 programmable buttons, and a number of features unique to the Xai (more on those in a bit).
"Digital board games can be tons of fun, especially when they're cooperative. That's what's in store for Beacon Patrol from Assemble Entertainment. Based on the real-life board game by Torben Ratzlaff, Beacon Patrol has players work together to explore a map and create a network of coastal paths, all by placing tiles. It's a lot like Carcassonne and Kingdomino, but set on the high seas. The upcoming Steam version will support 4-player local co-op, and there's a single-player demo right now," says Co-Optimus.
