what is the deal with all these "10 things so can do" or "5 things" they are getting as old as the romurs about MGS & FF move on for crying out load.

We all know sony can do things to up there sales we all have are own Ideas so why post the same words an things just put in dif. ways.

5 things microsoft needs to do to save xbox:

- Find way to fix the disc scratching
- Find way to fix ring of death (everyones fav.)
- Don't go with the idea of make a new console every 2 years
- Stop trying to force xbox owners to have or somehow be one with vista
- Stop charging for every little thing

These are not flames these are real problems xbox has that no one every talks about an when someone does fanboys come in an b!tch about how they are not true an deny any of it.

I own both x360 & ps3 an from what I can see BOTH consoles have a lot of problems an needed to be fixed or changed but making dumb posts every few days wont change anything.

Get on developers/buy developers to get content out in stores.
Lower production costs/keep quality good/pass savings to customers

They are in this position due to management errors they have made.

Everyone working there should be competent enough to decide the next strategy. In my honest and humble opinion, they have a good chance to redeem themselves at E3. It's their last chance at getting people excited for their console at this stage in the console war.

My 360 is giving me a lot of entertainment. If anything, i think you might be a little jealous(and just get a good warranty just in case, for any console for that matter).

1 doesn't have games, and the other has games but you cant always play them because of 360 breaking(answer get a good warranty, you should for anything, my PS2 problems didn't deter me from playing it).

Well judging from your history of comments this is a lie as you spread the comments section with rants like this one.

Also I'm a Sony fan (and a ninty and ms fan, see I'm a gamer) and I complaint because if there is something wrong, I want it fixed. For exemple I complained about the lack of rumble and now there is talk to bring it back to the ps3. Complaining isn't always about fanboyism, sometimes its about getting more for your money.

You keep using the term "xbot". To me this is a sign of weakness as you can convince the other side so you last resort is names calling, when out of arguments, go for the name calling, so mature. PS3 does need little big planet and more "quirky" (read: innovative, compelling, all inviting, rated E for everyone (but not kiddy)) titles. Whoever wrote that is a complete moron.

Also, I don't think Sony should forget about the PSP and go mobile. What a retard. PSP still has plenty of life left, it can last more than the DS. Sony should keep making the PSP more functional with wireless networks and enable video and music on demand for it, and to connect with your PS3 wherever you are in the world. Also, make the PSP have its own "home" and downloadable content. That's how you save the PSP. Going mobile would be a retarded move, at least right now. In 3-5 years, maybe not.

The only things I agree that sony has to do is drop to $400 dollars WORLDWIDE (or at least not cost a lot more than that in europe), hurry in dropping costs of PS3 making, and hurry with their own exclusives. Don't pay for 3rd party exclusives (except FF and MGS)-instead, keep making first party exclusives. Use its cellius venture with namco. Invest in innovative projects. Create new studios with new talent (like with media molecule). And last but not least, make it a true media hub with services like home, singstar, and video on demand.

So, to sum it up, sony just needs to HURRY. Hurry with:

1. Price-dropping (cost-dropping)
2. Games
3. Services.

That's it. Since games and services are already on the pipeline and just need to be hurried (not rushed), the only fundamental thing to be done, which isn't a sure thing, but should be made is PRICE DROP. Not immediately, but a little bit after (or beforE) Halo 3 come out. Not price dropping would be a stupid mistake. It could be a horrible gamble, but the payoff would be winning a console war and a format war, not simply a console war. After all, a lot of people are just wating for Sony to drop their price to get a PS3; they don't care about Wii or 360.

I only read PSM, and they made the PS3's lackluster sales seem way better than they actually were. The only way that Sony's actually going to DO something about the mess they've created is if people speak up about it and vote with their dollars (if they haven't gotten the message already, then they're pretty dense).

If you just buy the console even though you're pissed off at Sony for having lost all those exclusives, made all those bad PR mistakes and run a terrible advertising campaign, then you're just a fanboy who'll buy Sony stuff no matter what... and Sony won't change (so I hope you enjoy having no games to play and HOME on the horizon as the next big thing).

I'm no Sony hater. But I'm not going back to PS3 while Microsoft is doing a way better job at keeping me satisfied as a gamer. I Say:

* Fix drives indeed: MS has to weed out the bad drives they're working on that.

* MS's warrenties are in place yes it sucks the 360's more sensitve to its enviroments(keep it cool so the Mother board does not warp breaking the link to its chips, pray you dont get a bad drive from a certain factory that has unreadable disc errors)

* Don't release a console every two years you say!, the PS3 will be on it's third SKU in a couple of months with a Home intertainment system to follow it, thats four in a few years.

* force 360 users to do what with Vista? whatever they're doing i'm sure its not as extream as the Blu-ray push.

* As long as i'm not paying for demo's i'm fine.

Noone need to be saved. Even first xbox was able to sell 24 mln. And also got port of MGS2, GTA3.

Is that Sony placed Blu ray first and gamers second. You heard the arrogance " We can sell 5 million PS3s with no games." And for the most part they were right. People don't seem to realize that the real battle is between Sony and Toshiba. Microsoft is more of a hindrance. Sonys biggest money maker is their games division, they want to change that with pushing Bluray technology in the PS3. Bluray isn't needed for games, they just want to sell their Blu ray movies through the PS brand name. Its a lot easier to introduce a new product(Bluray movies) through an already established one(playstation). Remember when Cartridges were the only way to play videogames?

It lasted for the longest time. 3 generation of nintendo machines had a cartridge format. Then what Happen? Systems like the Saturn and PS1 followed and the games and audio that where seen on these machines where sharper and overall more pleasing. Then Followed by the PS2(which used DVD's) and even even the dreamcast which used a GBD-rom.

Progression needs to take place in order for a system to have a long life. Right now, NO! Blu-Ray is not needed for games, Games like Gears of War have proven that a great game can still fit on a DVD. But games like Blue-Dragon (wether your gonna buy it or not) are gonna show that a DVD just isn't big. No matter if it doesn't bother you to get up and change the disc the fact that it still has to be done is not very next(this)-gen. How much longer does the DVD format have left in it when it comes to being a gaming format? Nobody knows for
sure. But progression in this industry has always been the main factor in what keeps a company afloat. Nintendo destoryed all that will come up until they said:"CD-rom is not needed for games" Now what? they are relagated to trying to appease to the sub-culture of gaming to turn a profit. So far all the moves made by all console manufactures EXCEPT for Sony have shown to be paying off. Xbox is the leader and the Wii has found itself a position to acutally hold the lead for a while if it keeps selling like it is. But in a Console race that could very well be longer then the norm due to the ever increasing cost of production a system that is ready for longer then 7 years might just be able to win. But then again if this generation last as long or even shorter then pervious generation then the inclusion of future ready media was/is the biggest mistake that sony could've made.
