E4G: With Gearbox Software recently trademarking "Borderworlds" will that mean it will be a MMORPG Borderlands Style?
Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford has told NowGamer that there's more that can be done with co-op loot-and-shoot franchise Borderlands...
What improvements can they make? I could see Borderworlds being some sort of perpetual online co-op game - not quite an MMO, but more like Brink...
To be honest, I'd be interested in an MMO Borderworlds, it just seems like a perfect world for it.
We need a bigger world, more variety of guns. Sure there were 1,000,000 guns but most looked the same. The 4 main characters should not say the same lines OVER AND OVER AGAIN. It also needs longer story mode, more quests, able to reach level 100, and multiplayer arena battles. If it needs 2 discs for the xbox then so be it if it needs to be better than the first.
Blend Games: Several new games have been announced this week as well as a few revelations about games that will be announced soon. Gearbox has trademarked Borderworlds, which means that it's either a sequel or an MMOFPS. The upcoming Scourge Project is nearing release for the Xbox 360 and PS3 and the company wanted to make sure everyone knows it's a third-person shooter with a story and four-player co-op modes. Medal of Honor is getting a reboot in the same vein as Modern Warfare.
In my opinion, I could see this happening. But we have too many MMORPGs already...
It would be a shame if it was only for the PC...
I could see that happening. This game has the elements for it.
Horrendous idea if it does turn into an MMO.It will take years to develop and maintain.Just make a part 2,add some new worlds and weapons.Call it a day
