The pull of Gravity Crash is undeniable - Globe and Mail reviews Gravity Crash

Globe and Mail game reporter writes:

We haven't had much time to devote to downloadable releases this fall, but we recently spared a few hours for Just Add Water Developments' Gravity Crash for PlayStation 3 and we were happy we did.

It's an obvious homage to games of decades past, including Asteroids and Cosmic Avenger, with a few visual nods thrown to modern games like Geometry Wars. Players control a small ship the movements of which are governed by two factors: engine thrust and gravity. Thrust pushes our ship straight forward in whichever direction it happens to be pointed, while the gentle gravity of the planets we explore acts as a constant force to pull it down.

It feels like it should be a simple shooter-and we do indeed have a nice variety of weapons, a shield, and a wide range of enemies and structures to blow up-but combat is not the game's primary focus. Rather, it's skillful navigation....
