The demo is now available for download over Xbox Live. The size of the file is 848.84MB.
Salman from Tech4Gamers writes "Mortal Kombat 9 revived the series from a low point after bringing it back to 2D combat. It marked a new high-point for the franchise due to its incredible roster, exciting cinematic story mode, and high-octane combat."
That game was actually goated. It was the first time ever that I actually tried to get good at a fighting game. Unfortunately the online connection was so dogshit it made it hard to enjoy and eventually I gave up. Haven't really played much fighting games since.
Microsoft has slashed the prices of games across the Xbox 360 store in preparation for its July 29th closure.
The Dishwasher
Vigilante 8
Two non-BC and no-PC-version Arcade titles I downloaded recently. Dishwasher's sequel is on Steam at least.
I've also downloaded Ninety-Nine Nights II (shame the first wasn't available). I still want to download Burnout 3: Takedown before the weekend's up, though that is still the full $9.99 non-discounted price
The Xbox 360 Marketplace is officially shutting down in three days, which means dozens of exclusive, digital-only 360 games will no longer be available to purchase anywhere else once it does.
The Xbox 360 will be almost 20 years old next year, and to celebrate this milestone Microsoft have decided to obliterate all of its online functionality.
Fortunately, the X360 was jailbroken a long time ago, so a good part of its library is available for download from 'alternative' sources. Still, it's a bummer to see the store going away.
Dawn of The First Day
-72 Hours Remain-
Also they can keep the store up for life if they wanted.
Series X for the back compat titles, and OG Xbox and X360 for those not on BC. I pretty much bought all of the digital games I want for the 360 so I am good.
I've downloaded it right away last night and played it! And damn it's nice.
I say OMG this is the best game on a console in it's genre ever. The controls are like never been seen before, the graphics are great from overseeing the whole area down to zooming in on the fighting army's.
It has the nice Lords of the Rings atmosphere, online it's a blast. Multiple army's with a lot of soldiers in it I love it.
Normally summer is a boring time for releases, but after Prey, Chromehounds, Moto GP '06 and the ones that still have to come out like Dead Rising, this game is the sleeping hitgame of this summer for real!
I didn't thought it, but this game will sell systems to the people who adore this genre. Over from PC to 360. No need for a keyboard anymore, get your wireless controller, lay on your comfortable couch instead of having to sit on a bureau desk straight up with a dull typing on a keyboard (which is designed to type text not play games, yeah tap 'T' and tap 'Z' now blargh) this game really got me.
Going to buy it today for sure!
Certainly the best control scheme I've seen for an rts on a console. I can't play this, though...everything looks so tiny on my tv I have a hard time figuring out what's what.
I just got a mail from xbox.com that these demo's will be downloadable from Marketplace this month:
Saints Row
Test Drive® Unlimited (demo 2)
That will be fun then! It's a good month for marketplace!
hell yeah SAINTS ROW!
Oh yea I DLed this and I am going to play this soon, BTW I now how faith in my 360 forever, because I accidentally left it on all night, for about 12 hours, and so now I am no longer worried! Whew :)
