Like most other Harvest Moon titles, the game gives you a great deal of freedom. If mining is too much of a gamble, you can concentrate on farming. If constantly buying feed for fowl isn't worth it to you, then you don't have to raise them. The quests are fun and quirky, and the animals all look adorable. With it's plodding pace, it's not going to try draw in a new audience, but if you love Harvest Moon games, Animal Parade delivers just what you want.

Idk, man. I don't think creators should have to abide from a checklist to make everyone happy. People should be free to create something the way that they envision it. You certainly wouldn't want someone trying to dictate decisions you make in your life, which is what a lot of this stuff feels like when people try to force someone to do something.
Agreed. getting upset about them not including this is the same as getting upset that it was included in mass effect. Just let the devs create what they want and buy it if you want to play it.
But it takes nothing to add...it's different if you are forcing it into story driven games but something like Harvest Moon it's expected. Look at the Sims.
