As ATI's R650 launch gets closer and closer, more rumors and official information begin to surface. This also applies for the upcoming R700 GPU, which is supposed to revolutionize the graphics card sector. The latest developments point to the fact that the R700 multi-core chip will support the improved DirectX version 10.1 (rumored to be renamed to DirectX 11).

Lam is among the 120 characters available for recruitment in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. While she is one of the many straightforward recruits, a known bug may prevent players from recruiting her if certain conditions are met. Despite developers’ assurances of fixing the bug, some early access players still encounter issues with recruiting Lam despite attempting the standard method.
Helldivers 2 players have taken it upon themselves to shoot those wearing pre-order armor. The developers are asking those involved to stop this undemocratic behavior.
So does that mean that the 8800 doesn't support DX10.1? Anyway, I heard that the benchmarks of the R600 were very disappointing. Hope that the R700 will do what it's supposed to.

this is good news, especially as these cards will cost a bit when they come out so for people not wanting to have to upgrade again when the next DX comes out this is a good way to go
