Diablo 3 at BlizzCon 2007?

Starcrafttwo.com reports:

"The announcement of the Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals 2007 held in South Korea, and its one-week splash page teaser got many Diablo fans hyped up. When Starcraft 2 was announced, Diablo fans' hopes went down the drain. I have seen reactions at different Diablo forums, including the official forums, where fans have lost all hope for Diablo III.

I would say to those fans, it is not over until the fat lady sings. Diablo is coming … there is no doubt of that. The signs of its coming is all over the place. You just have to be sharp to notice.

Blizzard has been hiring developer staff for the last three years. The job descriptions in the past three years have clearly stated the job openings were for the "Diablo Team"."

Lets bring some 360 ps3 crap into this pc section lol. ff sucks anyways.the reason we wanted it is because it would be the final nail in the coffin for the ps3. And diablo 3 needs to be made. the first games i played were blizzards warcraft, starcraft and diablo. fu**in classics. 1st one they fight diablo, 2nd they fight the brothers off diablo, 3rd.... we fight satan, diablo and his brothers in heaven. war against heaven and hell sounds dope. make it an online game like diablo 2 and im sold. the most anticipated game in my life but still waiting.

Starcraft 2 was kept secret forever. mmorpg will be dope and this game is being made. they know they had 2 games that were game of the year quality. why would they let the franchise die.

Oh man i hope they release Diablo3. That would be the best game ever! just as long as i'm not killing colorful bears and spiders for 70 levels like WOW.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.

Diablo III - Still a Huge Draw in the Face of Diablo IV

Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.

Palitera392d ago

Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?

kevco33391d ago

Heh, yeah. There's no comparison in here! Its a commentary on how III is still very playable over a decade later.
