Hm, not bad! Give her the Steel Rod and we're set.

Nike5262d ago

lol

But seriously, this chick does not make a good Aeris. :|

FantasyStar5262d ago (Edited 5262d ago )

LOL! But back on topic. She's looks believable to me, especially because she's not asian. The best one I've seen so far.

Here is one of the flaw of N4G. A crappy article managed to get approved disregard 18 reports.

MaximusPrime5262d ago

submitter is apparently a "trainee". obviously he has not be trained properly on how to post newsworthy articles.

Sangria5262d ago (Edited 5262d ago )

It's not the case of approvers either, I guess.

bjornbear5262d ago

i agree. I think the mods of this site either need to change the system or do a better job.

I know N4G would get less hits, but you know what?

Why allow news that gets reported so much as Not News? Where's the integrity of this site?

sakura20095262d ago

what about the guys that approved those cosplay with the girls with big boobs. how come no one complain about that

Timesplitter145262d ago

sigh... and now it's N4G's hottest article

Skizelli5262d ago (Edited 5262d ago )

I'm not into cosplay at all, but I'm a fan of FF7 and can appreciate the work this person put into her costume. If it's related to games, I don't see why it shouldn't be approved. The subject has to word "Cosplay" in it, so why would you click on it if it's not your kind of article? Oh, I forgot, people like to complain about everything.

Sangria5262d ago (Edited 5262d ago )

I bought this week a limited edition statue of Sonic. Following your logic, I must submit an article on N4G because this is video game related. Do you see what I mean? Not every game-related article have to be submitted to N4G, only the ones that are newsworthy.

And pics of someone that disguise himself or herself into a video game character cannot be considered as newsworthy, especially when we know that hundreds of thousands people practice cosplay. We don't need an article for each person having a dissociative identity disorder.

JD_Shadow5262d ago

No, this is not newsworthy. We would SO rather see someone trashing systems without just cause or have seven thousand flame bait articles?

And it's apparently newsworthy to you because you're commenting about how UN-newsworthy it is.

Perhaps you would be happier if we're all insulting each other over what system we choose to like more. Let's be happy that the top story is something that we're not having a console war over the top story.

Sunday is usually a slow news day, anyway. The only real thing we usually look forward to on Sundays is HHG and the heat HE creates by people doing the exact same thing YOU are doing right now.

OT: She's a good looking girl that did a good cosplay job. I wouldn't mind seeing more from this girl if she has any more.

Skizelli5262d ago (Edited 5262d ago )

"I bought this week a limited edition statue of Sonic. Following your logic, I must submit an article on N4G because this is video game related. Do you see what I mean? Not every game-related article have to be submitted to N4G, only the ones that are newsworthy."

So it's only newsworthy if it's to your liking? And you're mincing my logic. You're comparing a statue of a video game character to a whole subculture. Hardly the same thing. Though, if you were to write something interesting about that statue, that's another story.

"And pics of someone that disguise himself or herself into a video game character cannot be considered as newsworthy, especially when we know that hundreds of thousands people practice cosplay."

I disagree. Some people enjoy looking at this stuff, and you can't dictate that just because you don't. The story was approved, so apparently you've been overruled. If you don't like it, don't waste your time commenting on it. Simple, yeah?

"We don't need an article for each person having a dissociative identity disorder."

Who's "we"?

Considering the characters' name is Aerith not Aeris...Aeris was a bad translation when Final Fantasy 7 originally hit western shores.

Shane Kim5262d ago

Always thought about that too. What is wrong with Aerith? It's more better imo.

GarandShooter5262d ago

Aerith sounds like you're saying Aeris, but with a lisp! :o

Matthew945262d ago

Aerith is the proper translation from japanese not aeris (to the best of my knowledge)

Ultimarad5262d ago

It's because the Japanese don't have our pronunciation of the letters "th", instead it sounds like "s". That's why in the One Winged Angel track it sounds like the singers are saying "Sephiros" instead of Sephiroth".

ReservoirDog3165262d ago

Haha,

To everyone else, thanks. I always wondered what was up with the different spellings everywhere.

Bubbles to everyone.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
