Kotaku writes: The next Zelda won't be too easy for veteran players, the longtime head of the series' development at Nintendo, Eiji Aonuma, recently told Kotaku. Plus, the new DS adventure will cater to Nintendo fan's research-proven taste for independent women.
In a brief e-mail interview with Kotaku in advance of the release of next month's The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Aonuma explained that Link's latest adventure takes an unusual route to satisfying and challenging veteran gamers:
"One of our lead planners for the game is a programmer, so he has a different, more scientific or mathematical approach, so to say, to creating puzzles," he wrote to Kotaku. Aonuma is the producer on Spirit Tracks.
"Development team members, including [senior Nintendo developer] Mr. [Takashi] Tezuka and myself, actually got stuck in several places. So the dungeons and puzzles pose a different type of challenge than what we have utilized in previous games, and will certainly require longtime Zelda fans to approach each challenge differently.
The new Nintendo-focused emulator for the iPhone is now available with support for several classic systems.
Won't belong before Nintendo bangs on Apple's door to have the emu removed. Like I say you take down one six more take it's place. Problem is people are putting emu's on such stupid platforms. The good emus are the ones not on stupid platforms like a red target. The good emu's are word of mouth and keep a low profile.
Nintendo has announced the SNES and Super Famicom games gracing the Nintendo Switch Online library this month, and there are some gems to enjoy.
Strange headline, as I thought the star of the show was Super RType. I almost bought RType Dimensions EX this last month and was just thinking, man I wish we had the SNES one somewhere on Switch. That's where I got my start w the series and I was beyond excited to see it drop this week!
Following the Wii U and 3DS servers being taken offline, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Ghosts are officially dead.
great news. i like games that challenges the mind
Sounds promising, looking forward to this game. TBH though, at times i found phantom hourglass's puzzles to be pretty hard XD
Certain block puzzles and the Master Sword puzzle forced me to use a guide for Twilight Princess, much to my humiliation.
I'll rectify myself with this game.
As long as the challenges are nothing like the "challenge" of that stupid central temple in phantom hourglass... then i'm happy.
