This truly an odd game. You are a "Remote-Unit" which can be likened to tadpole looking thing, which can shoot and destroy bacteria. You're based in an open environment, which is living, and starts out initially with a couple of cells (as in the white cells in your body). These cells can be used as protection by dragging them together to form a wall or they can be shot to get powerups to assist you along the way......
The problem is that the game isn't a knockoff, and while the $10 shooter is reminiscent of many other games, it does enough to set itself apart to be worth looking at. However, if you're not a fan of pants-wetting frustration, you may want to sit this out; they've set the difficulty level much higher than similar shooters. The game gleefully offers a few training modes, then plows into you with some rather unforgiving enemies.
I am glad they made a demo/trial version. I played it and I really didn't enjoy the game much. There is a possibility that the game gets better as you progress but what I played wasn't that great.
I agree though that Super Stardust HD is a lot more fun ("funner").
The game is called Bacterius in Japan, but in other shores, we know it quite well as none other than Nucleus. Or, if you wanna be smarty-pants about it, it's "the fl0w meets Blast Factor game" for the PSN (with a Trauma Center theme too).
It looks chill. Yet another Robotron Smash tv clone like Geometry wars, blast factor, mutant storm, etc, etc, etc.
Pro-G takes a look at the upcoming PlayStation Network title Nucleus, a game which combines a great deal of the PlayStation Network's most publicised titles, flOw and Blast Factor.
This game looks GREAT. I like these little games a little more than the BIG games right now. These seem to come out a little sooner than later. I want Calling all Cars, i hope its this week or next week when we get it.
just saying.
but tons of these types of games exist already.
