The creators of Pokmon and Hello Kitty are NOT dead

There's a rumor on Twitter (news story here: http://n4g.com/news/719582/... ) so persistent that it's caused "Satoshi Tajiri," the creator of the game Pokemon, to become a Twitter Trend over the assertion that he, as well as "Hello Kitty" character creator Yuko Yamaguchi died.

Both Satoshi Tajiri and Yuko Yamaguchi are still alive.

WorthPlaying: Hello Kitty Party Review

WorthPlaying writes: "There are video games made for kids, and then there are video games made for really, really little kids. Hello Kitty Party on the DS definitely falls into the latter category. I've played my fair share of kids' titles over the years, with quite a few of those involving licensed cartoon characters, but most of those games were geared toward children who were at least five years old, and some titles were even intended for those in their early teens. I firmly believe that Hello Kitty Party was never intended for anyone over the age of five, so if you have a little child in the house who already has some fascination or love for Hello Kitty, she'll probably get a short-lived kick out of Hello Kitty Party. It'll be short-lived because the game is ridiculously short, but I imagine a younger child will be more likely to replay the 20-plus minigames than an adult or teenager ever would."

DigitalSomething Review: Hello Kitty Party

From the review: "When you start playing, you have five screens to choose from that all have multiple mini-games. Each screen and it's included games are themed. You can chose from dress making, shopping, cooking, and of course, party time. You will notice there is only four categories there. That is because the first screen only has one thing to do on it, and that is the Invitation Game. It works kind of like whack-a-mole, where the characters pop up on different places, and you need to tap on the one that matches the character shown on the top screen. The rest of the games included are all on the same basic level of simplicity, and most of them work how they are supposed to."
